The St. Eugene School Annual FundIn order to fund our school and provide an excellent faith-based education to our students, we rely on three main income sources: tuition, support from St. Eugene Parish, and development/fundraising, which includes this Annual Fund. St. Eugene School is successful only because of the generosity of many, many people. Listen to the voices of St. Eugene School and give generously to the Annual Fund. With your help and support, we will reach our goal this year of $115,000.
Dear Friends, We can enjoy the tomatoes now, of course, because of the work we put in earlier in the year. It took work to prepare the soil and to pull the weeds. It took work to put in the tomato cages that support the plants and to water the garden during the dry times. So we know that we need to put some work into the garden - but we also know that God is doing much more work there than we are. God is the source of the sunshine and the soil and the miracle of life. In this way, educating children is like growing tomatoes. It takes a lot of work: developing curriculum, planning lessons, supervising children at recess, paying bills. At the same time, we know that God is doing much more work here than we are. We offer our work to God, who unites it with his own miraculous work of redeeming and transforming our world. This Annual Fund is a part of that work. The money you give helps St. Eugene School pull the weeds and provide the support that our students need as they grow. Your gift is joined with God's gifts as we provide these students with a strong foundation of faith and knowledge. Jesus said, "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few; pray therefore that the master may send workers for his harvest." Thank you for joining in the work and supporting the mission of St. Eugene School.
